The Workforce Survey
The Inquiry launched a workforce survey to ensure that as many voices from across police forces had the opportunity to contribute to its work. The survey was open to all serving officers and staff in forces and constabularies across England and Wales. It ran from 30 March 2025 – 19 May 2025. The survey covered a range of topics, such as recruitment, vetting, culture, and standards, including misconduct processes.
The survey results will now be analysed. The evidence gathered as part of this survey will support the findings and recommendations of pillars 1&2 of Part 2 of the Inquiry’s work.
